Suggesting a restaurant

The most useful tips name the room, the neighbourhood, and one sentence on why it deserves a critic's evening — a dish, a room, a service detail. Several of the restaurants reviewed on this site got their first visit exactly that way. Anything sent by a PR on behalf of the restaurant itself is read, noted, and set aside.

Corrections

If a review states something that's no longer true — a chef who's moved on, a closed room, a changed menu — say so plainly and, if possible, point to where we can confirm it. A confirmed correction changes the review itself, not a footnote, and material changes are noted in the text rather than silently rewritten.
